One of the unique performers on the national storytelling circuit today, Angela has been featured at the 25th (1997), 2003 & 2010, 2015 (Emcee) National Storytelling Festival, in Jonesborough, Tn and regularly appears at regional festivals and theatres across the country.

 

A virtuosa on Washboard, her performances are

a whimsical braid of poetry, story and song played

on Autoharp, Tenor Guitar, Spoon and Bell.

2022 was the 20th anniversary of the Parents Choice Honors Award: Sandburg Out Loud - Carl Sandburg's Story, Song, Poetry and Music featuring Angela w/ colleagues Bill Harley, Carol Birch and David Holt. Check it out! Look for it on You Tube.

2000-2007  A California Arts Council Artists in Schools grantee 2000-2003, Angela was the teaching artist in residence at The Walden School in Pasadena, CA. The school funded the residency project independently 2003 - 2007.

2009 – 2021: Storytelling teacher 

Children's Community School in Van Nuys, Ca.

 

Based in Victorville, CA Angela is seeking connections with high desert schools for Pre-K- 8th grade.
